Airport has re-opened since 8am local, Wednesday. Situation will become normal gradually.
As of tonight, 22 September 20:00pm, Rhodes International Airport is shut down due to damage caused on the runway by heavy rain.
According to Rodiaki local press repair crews are already working on site and it is hoped that by Wednesday morning airport can reopen.
